As a woman in business, I wear many hats. I’m a mom. I work a 9–5. I spend time with family and friends. I like to stay active and live a healthy lifestyle. And if love ever comes my way, that is something I’d welcome.

I’m also an entrepreneur and the owner of several businesses. My days are a constant juggle of work, play, mom guilt, owning the business and doing the work of the business, running from meetings to after-school activities, and rounding off the night with writing, checking emails, scheduling responses for reasonable hours when normal people are awake, reading “book stories,” and watching dinosaur videos.

Whoever decided that 24-hour days were enough was completely wrong. But I also know that if I had more time, I would probably find a way to fill that too.

This is the life we choose when we decide that normal just doesn’t cut it. When we choose to pursue our God-given missions and dreams and build something that will stand the test of time.

We think about legacy. About the people who will come after us and how they might benefit from what we are building today.

So to my fellow women who want to build wealth—this is our story, our choice, and our moment.

And I can’t wait to grow with you.
